Hi Amit . So we can divide it between above 100 or below 100 fever . If it below 100 it's mostly viral and it goes with test and paracetamol. You can take lots of fluids and juices . 
if your fever is above 100 you need cold sponging and also need to do blood work . It is mostly bacterial or malarial infection and you need to see you dr as soon as possible . 
fever is a symptom and we need to find the cause .
