Why
Sir, i had partial ACL in Aug 2022, and the nearby orthopedic surgeon has not given proper treatment and he has immobilised me for 7 weeks with bed rest due to which i lost severe amount of muscle in my affected leg and with severe weakness. Then i had undergone ACL repair(not reconstruction) with another doctor in Feb 2023 after a gap of 6 months from the date of injury as i had knee buckling while turning and walking on slopes. Post Op now i do not have knee buckling but still i am not able to stand properly on the affected leg as i have no balance and no strength. I have been regularly doing all the exercises prescribed by my physiotherapist. My question is is this weakness due to late acl repair or due to muscle weakness.
