How to treat shoulder dislocation?
How to proceed if you have shoulder dislocation and which surgery is good for you.
First you get a 3 Tesla shoulder MRI to see three points if you have .
Bankart, Hilsach and bone loss written in your reports . These words means your shoulder can be fixed.
There are two options depends up on your shoulder bone loss and Hilsach. If you have more then 15 % bone loss or you are a athlete or a sportsman you should get Latarjet procedure .
If bone loss is less or no or you are not an athlete then arthroscopic procedure is enough .
Latarjet is more successful and less costly and my personal favourite as it gives faster recovery.
